Local Planning Policies

The Shire has adopted Local Planning Policies that supplement the Town Planning Scheme and regulate land uses in the local government area.

The Shire has adopted Local Planning Policies that supplement the Town Planning Scheme and regulate land uses in the local government area. Please note that some of these policies are currently under review to align them with the Planning and Development (Local Planning Schemes) Regulations 2015.

Planning Frameworks and Design Guidelines

The Shire has adopted Planning Frameworks to facilitate development and Design Guidelines to assist with the implementation of Local Structure Plans.

Land Use Policies

The Shire has adopted Environmental management and Sustainability strategies to ensure that the environmental assets of the Shire are conserved and enhanced.
