Online Business Support
The Small Business Development Corporation (SBDC) offers free business advice to help current and aspiring small business owners in Western Australia.
The areas of advice they can assist you with include but are not limited to;
- starting a small business;
- business structures;
- writing your business plan;
- market research;
- business licences and permits
Business Local Outreach Program
The SBDC runs the Business Local Outreach Program which provides subsidised access to enterprise skill development sessions. These sessions are presented by providers with expertise in a range of areas such as;
- financial literacy;
- business systems;
- contracting and tendering;
- marketing
- digital literacy;
Sessions can be delivered in a variety of formats including workshops, webinars and forums. You can view the upcoming schedule to keep updated on sessions happening around you.
Economic Participation Project
The Economic Participation Project is a partnership between People With Disabilities WA (PWdWA), Advocacy WA (AWA) and Youth Disability Network (YDAN).
Its goal is to develop the soft skills of young people with disabilities and provide them with the self-assurance to build links with their industry of choice.
