Men's Shed - Team Member
Men’s Shed was established in 2010 when Brian Phillips, a boat builder who had worked on the Endeavour Replica in Fremantle, proposed the idea to the Jarrahdale Community Association. This initiative has grown to its current location in the Old Scout Hall in Mundijong, where approximately 70 members dedicate two days a week to community projects. Volunteers from diverse backgrounds come together to create items for sale or projects for various local groups. The Men’s Shed regularly participates in local events with their caravan and sometimes their 'Band Saw Mill' to showcase their skills as well as selling their products and services to the community. The Men's Shed is always on the lookout for new members to join and encourages new volunteers, from all backgrounds and experiences to come together to create items to sell or assist with projects for various groups within the community.
