A Bushfire Advice alert is in place for people in parts of KARRAKUP, CARDUP and BYFORD in the SHIRE OF SERPENTINE JARRAHDALE.
A number of roads have been closed including: Nettleton Road between Henry George Close and Manjedal Road.
An evacuation centre is open at Serpentine Jarrahdale Recreation Centre at 38 Mead Street, Byford.
