  • Where is the event being held?

  • Do I need to register to attend the event?
    You do not need to register for this event. Just come and go as you please!

  • Is there parking available?
    There is some free parking available around Kalimna Oval. Please follow signage and staff directions. However, we do encourage you to walk, carpool, or make alternate arrangements to avoid disappointment.

  • Will there be food at the event?
    Yes! We will have a range of food trucks available for you. We also encourage those with dietary requirements or food preferences to bring along their own food options to avoid disappointment.   • Do I need to bring anything?
    You may choose to bring the following items if you wish to
    • A picnic rug/blanket and/or chairs to sit on
    • Sunscreen
    • Protective clothing e.g. hat, sunglasses etc
    • Your own food if you have dietary requirements or particular food preferences
    • Cash for the food trucks in case of EFTPOS trouble

  • What if it’s raining?
    If extreme weather (hot or cold) is forecast, the event may be cancelled for health & safety reasons.

  • Will there be drinking water at the event?
    There will be a drinking station available with free water. Water will also be available for purchase from the food vendors.

  • Will there be toilets at the event?
    There will be portable toilets available.
  • Is this an accessible event?
    Yes, those with accessibility requirements are more than welcome to attend at their own capacity. We will have accessible parking options and toilets available. Please note that the event is held on an oval with uneven grass & gravel surrounds.

  • What if I have questions on the day?
    If you require any assistance on the day, please look for Event Staff, identified in yellow hi-vis vests. You can also phone the SJ Shire afterhours phone on (08) 9526 1111.

  • Can I bring my dog to the event? 
    This event is pet-free. For the comfort and safety of all attendees, and to avoid embarrassment, please leave your pets at home with the exception of assistance dogs are welcome on a leash at all times.

  • Filming and Photography Consent
    Photos & videos may be taken by professional photographers and event staff during this event.

    Images may be used by the Shire of Serpentine Jarrahdale and/or contracted event suppliers for marketing & promotional purposes. If you do not wish for your photo to be used in this way, please speak with the Event Staff or Photographer on the day. You will be issued with a coloured wrist band so we can identify and ensure that photos of you are not shared publicly.

  • Safety
    Parents/guardians are reminded that children are the full responsibility of their parent or guardian on the day. If you, or a child in your care require medical attention, please visit the First Aid staff.

    If a child is lost, please report details to the closest Event Staff member, or report directly to the Shire of Serpentine Jarrahdale marquee. Likewise, if a child approaches you explaining they are lost, please report to Shire of Serpentine Jarrahdale marquee.

    Please take care and monitor safety within parking areas, near roads and pedestrian paths.
