Leasing and Licensing

The Shire is committed to ensuring the effective use and management of its facilities. To achieve this, the Shire offers a range of tenancy agreements that support both community and commercial activities. These agreements foster positive relationships between the community and the Council, while also strengthening community connections.

In accordance with the Local Government Act 1995, the Shire must comply with section 3.58 regarding the disposal of Shire-owned or vested property. When a property is proposed for disposal, a local public notice will be issued, detailing the property and inviting public submissions. Notices will be available on the Shire’s website and published in the Examiner newspaper.

The public notice will outline specific property details and provide a submission period, during which interested parties can submit their expressions of interest.
