General Waste Bin (red or green lid)

The general waste bin is collected weekly. It’s for waste that can’t be recycled or reused.

What can go in my general waste bin?

Recycling Bin (yellow lid)

The yellow lid is collected fortnightly. The bin is for all your recyclable items, which are reprocessed into new products.

What can go in my recycling bin?

All recycling must be loose (not bagged), clean and empty.

Where do I dispose of: 

The following items can NOT go in your kerbside bins. 

Please note additional charges may occur upon entry to these facilities. The Shire advises that residents check with the facility before disposing of any waste.

    • Must be wetted down, double wrapped and clearly labeled 'ASBESTOS WASTE'
    • Max of 8 sheets (approximately $13.20 per sheet).
