Do you care about road safety in SJ? Are you passionate about keeping our equine community safe on the roads? Here’s your chance to make a real difference!

We’re gearing up for an exciting Road Safety Week 2025, and we want YOU to star in our Horse Road Safety Campaign!

Why Get Involved?

Our equine community is at the heart of our region. With a rapidly growing population and many riders sharing roads with vehicles, raising awareness about horse safety is more important than ever. By participating, you’ll:

• Help educate drivers on how to safely share the roads with horses.
• Be a voice for our equine community.
• Play a starring role in a campaign that could save lives.

Who Are We Looking For?

• Horse owners who are passionate about road safety and would like to feature in our short road safety video with their horse. 
• A motorbike rider who would like to feature in the video, helping to highlight safe interactions with horses on the road.

What’s Involved?

Participants will take part in a professional video shoot, helping us create impactful content that will be shared across our platforms, including social media and our website, during Road Safety Week, 11-18 May 2025. The video shoot will involve a motorbike overtaking a horse, so it’s important that your horse isn't too reactive. We want to demonstrate the safest way to overtake horses, ensuring the safety of motorbike riders, horses, and their riders.
