INKA Homes has received the Shire’s ‘Clean Builder Award’, recognising the organisation’s exceptional efforts in maintaining spotless and debris-free construction sites within the Shire.

Councillor Shaye Mack and Director Development Services, Andrew Trosic, presented the award, commending INKA Homes’ dedication to upholding high waste management standards.
INKA Homes’ practices include using secure-lid bins to prevent windblown debris, ensuring all waste stays contained, and effectively managing sand drift. These efforts contribute to keeping the environment clean and prevent litter from reaching parks, waterways, and neighbourhoods.
With a thriving construction sector in the Shire, including 1,141 building approvals and 478 new homes built in 2024, maintaining waste management standards is more important than ever. The Shire’s rangers continue to work with builders, educating them on their responsibilities to help preserve the community’s environment.
The award comes a few months after WOW Homes were awarded the inaugural Clean Builder Award in December 2024.
