The Shire of Serpentine Jarrahdale Operations Team will be hard at work carrying out several maintenance tasks across the community in the coming weeks.
Restoring vegetation, playground upgrades and roadside maintenance will all be on the agenda with multiple tasks to be completed from 3 – 12 December.
Traffic management will be installed to help facilitate some the works projects, and drivers and urged to use caution when accessing these areas.

Nicholson Road pruning
Vegetation pruning will be undertaken between Thomas Road and Rowley Road to assist with line of sight issues. This will include maintenance works to the intersections at Foxton, Pony, Peters and Blair roads.
Traffic management will be in place along Nicholson Road from 6am – 10am.
Lightbody Road pruning
Pruning and clearing works will be completed along verges across the full length of Lightbody Road. This will also include pruning and clearing the intersection and southern verge of Mundijong Road.
Traffic management will be in place along Lightbody Road during this time.
Vickers Pass playground upgrades
The rubber soft fall flooring at the Vickers Pass playground will be renewed. The playground will not be accessible during this time.
Paterson Street maintenance
Centre islands located along Paterson Street in Mundijong (from Whitby Street to Mundijong Road) will receive a new mulch application.
Traffic management will be in place during the works.
South Western Highway median strip maintenance
Median strips along South Western Highway (from Thomas Road to Nettleton Road) will receive upgrades as part of the works schedule.
