    AL-ANON FAMILY GROUP'S PURPOSE: To help families and friends of alcoholics recover from the effects of living with someone whose drinking is a problem. Similarly, Alateen is our recovery program for young people. Alateen groups are sponsored by Al-Anon members. Alateen provides support for teenagers affected by the problem drinking of a parent or other family member. Alcoholism, alcohol abuse, or problem drinking affects thousands of families in Australia and worldwide. Your inquiry is confidential and anonymous. If you are concerned about someone else's drinking, we encourage you to browse our website for information about our programs.

Alcoholics Anonymous is a fellowship of men and women who share their experience, strength and hope with each other that they may solve their common problem and help others to recover from alcoholism. The only requirement for membership is a desire to stop drinking. There are no dues or fees for A.A. membership and meetings are available in your local area.     Starick is a charity supporting women ad children escaping domestic and family violence. We work predominantly in Perth's south-eastern metropolitan region. Our vision is to build futures free from violence for the women and children who use our service and for the community as a whole. Our services include counselling, support in police stations, refuges (short stay accommodation), transitional housing and the sage at home program. Our office is open 9am-5pm Mon, Tue, Thurs, Fri.
