Come down for a community open day event at the newly-built Cardup Career Fire Station! This $14.5 million emergency services facility will officially commence operating in February and aims to support our dedicated volunteers in the area and add to our resources to help keep the residents, properties, and environment in SJ, safe. 

What's there to do?

• Take a tour of a modern career fire and rescue service (CFRS) station
• Watch firefighter demonstrations
• Chat to the firefighters who'll be based at the Cardup Station and working to protect local communities
• Chat to the bushfire awareness teams
• Jump onboard a real fire truck and snap a photo
• Check out a range of trucks, including a 1940s-era fire truck!
