Youth Fest 2025
Kick off the week with our annual Youth Fest, an evening filled with live music, entertainment, free activities, food trucks, and more.
This year’s YouthFest stars live music by WA rapper AZZA, plus an epic line-up of fun worth breaking from TikTok for.
The annual youth festival kicks off on Friday, 11 April from 4pm at Briggs Park Oval, Byford.
The evening will be jam-packed with fun for young people aged 12 to 24 – like live street art, mini golf, air brush tatts and tasty food trucks.
Local youth providers will also be on-hand to share information and support opportunities.
Other good stuff:
- Live Music from Solo pop artist Erin Carrol
- A set by a lucky local muso, selected by the SJ Shire Youth Team
- Hair Braiding, a scavenger hunt with prizes and the Game Vault
- Live street art community youth project
- Food trucks offering free meals
- Chill out space to relax and connect

BOUNCE Inc.
Flip, jump, and soar at this high-energy trampoline park!
As part of the Shire’s school holiday youth programming, the youth team are offering an opportunity to young people ages 12-17 to attend a free session at BOUNCE Inc. Cannington! The event will consist of a 1-hour hosted session at BOUNCE with travel included. And the best part is that it is all FREE!
Date: Monday 14th April
Departure Time: 10am
Return Time: 1pm
We will be leaving from the Briggs Park Youth Space - 38 Mead Street Byford on Bus– chartered by Zion Coach Services.

Perth Aqua Park
Take on inflatable water obstacles, slides, and challenges!
As part of the Shire’s school holiday youth programming, the youth team are offering an opportunity to young people ages 12-17 to attend a free session at Perth Aqua Park! The event will consist of a 50 minute session at the Perth Aqua Park with travel included. And the best part is that it is all FREE!
Date of Excursion: Tuesday 15th April
Departure Time: 10:10am
Return Time: 12:30pm

Cockburn Ice Skating Arena – Glide across the ice and test your skating skills!
As part of the Shire’s school holiday youth programming, the youth team are offering an opportunity to young people ages 12-17 to attend a free session at Cockburn Ice Skating Arena! The event will consist of a 2-hour hosted session at Cockburn Ice Skating Arena, with travel included. And the best part is that it is all FREE!
