The Watkins Road Waste Transfer Station and Recycling Centre has shortened its operating hours on Thursdays, Fridays and Saturdays effective immediately due to poor light creating workplace safety hazards for staff during the evening.
The changes will see the Waste Transfer Station closing at 5pm on the specified days, as opposed to the pre-existing closure time of 6pm.
