In a historic moment for our community, Rob Coales has been elected as the first directly elected Shire President for the Shire of Serpentine Jarrahdale.

Nathan Bishop has been elected as the new Councillor for the North West Ward and Reece Jerrett secured victory in the South Ward. As previous Councillor for the North Ward, Rob Coales’ victory will lead to a bi-election for the ward.

The local government election saw an impressive turnout, with 14% of residents actively participating in the democratic process.

The Shire of Serpentine Jarrahdale wishes to extend thanks to outgoing Councillors Michelle Rich and Lauren Strange for their passion, commitment and contribution to the Shire.
