A collection of artistic paper lanterns brought Brickwood Reserve to life as Shire residents celebrated Harmony Week on Saturday night.

The Harmony Week Lantern Trail event kicked off with a creative workshop where attendees crafted their own special lanterns before setting out on a nature walk around the reserve.

Led by experts from the Parks and Wildlife Service, locals got the chance to learn plenty of interesting facts about our local flora and fauna while enjoying the twilight stroll alongside some colourful roaming performers.

Harmony Week is about celebrating inclusivity, respect and building a strong sense of belonging within your local community.

The lantern trail event highlighted these themes, with locals connecting in a shared experience.
