Pump Track Progress: A Successful Community Drop-In

Exciting times are ahead for local riders!

On Tuesday, 10 December, the Shire of Serpentine Jarrahdale in collaboration with Common Ground Trails hosted a successful drop-in session at the Briggs Park Youth Space to discuss the upcoming Pump Track project. This much-anticipated project is set to transform Briggs Park into a premier destination for riding and rolling enthusiasts.

A Vision for the Future

The drop-in session provided an opportunity for the community to learn more about the detailed design and construction plans for Stage 1 of the project. This stage will feature a pump track, plus jump lines specifically designed for intermediate and advanced riders, as well as shade and seating areas.

The project has been made possible thanks to a generous $1.34 million election commitment from the State Government.

What's Next?

Construction for Stage 1 is scheduled to commence in early to mid-2025. As we move closer to this exciting milestone, we encourage you to stay updated on the project's progress by visiting our Your Say SJ page: https://www.yoursaysj.sjshire.wa.gov.au/pump-track
