Tuesday 2nd July 2024 - Saturday 13th July 2024

The Shire of Serpentine Jarrahdale is delighted to host a series of enriching events for NAIDOC Week 2024, running from 2 - 14 July. This year’s theme, “Blak, Loud and Proud,” celebrates the resilient spirit of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander communities and invites all Australians to stand in solidarity, amplifying voices that have long been silenced.

Experience the rich Aboriginal cultural heritage that surrounds the Shire of Serpentine Jarrahdale through a series of events. Explore traditional Aboriginal artifacts and captivating stories. Create unique art pieces guided by local artists. Join a cultural walk at Serpentine Falls with Aboriginal elders, learning about the land, flora, and fauna. Enjoy vibrant dance and theatre performances that celebrate traditional and contemporary expressions of Aboriginal identity. All events are open to the public, and we encourage everyone to attend.
