The Shire of Serpentine Jarrahdale and local environmental group Switch Your Thinking are teaming up to raise awareness about ways you can reduce your households carbon footprint.

Did you know you can now track your household’s greenhouse gas emissions from your mobile phone? “Climate Clever” is a simple-to-use app that is free and easy to sign up for.

Switch Your Thinking Program Officer Phil Webster said the online tool was an effective and efficient way to help manage your household’s emissions.

“Climate Clever is a beautifully simple app that helps you to measure and reduce your carbon footprint,” he said.
“There is no better way to find out the key sources contributing to your carbon footprint.”

The app also allows schools and businesses to sign up.
