To celebrate National Science Week 2024 and Inspiring Australia, SJ Shire has partnered with Supersonic Science to provide the Hands on Science Workshop – the following experiments are performed;

1. Bubbleology – surface tension
2. Instant Snow – superabsorbent polymers (packaged on the day for each attendee to take home)
3. Supersonic Slime – Non-Newtonian Fluids (packaged on the day for each attendee to take home)
4. Vortex Cannons – Fluid Dynamics
5. Elephants Toothpaste – Exothermic Reactions (demonstration)
6. Burning Bubbles – (demonstration and dependent on safety requirements)
