The Shire of Serpentine Jarrahdale has extended the Prohibited Burning Period due to ongoing summer weather conditions.

The Prohibited Burning Period will now end on Sunday, 12 May (six weeks later than the original scheduled end date of Sunday, 31 March).

This is the third extension to the Prohibited Burning Period, highlighting the unprecedented dry conditions being experienced across Serpentine Jarrahdale.

Residents are prohibited from carrying out any burning activity on their properties during this period.
